Dear Reader,
My name is Sokol Backa. Almost thirty years ago, I fell in love with medieval stonework and started practicing building with stone right away. I used to sit in front of both great and poor stonework for hours to study. Over the years, I’ve done stone masonry from Eastern Europe to the Eastern and Mid-West USA. I’ve had experience working for construction companies as well as contract jobs for homes and businesses. For me, creating great stonework is not just a ‘job’ but rather my lifelong passion!
Heritage Stones was founded in January 2016 in a southeastern suburb of Jacksonville, FL. Our esteem and focus is always placed upon fine quality stonework. We study every detail meticulously in order to create beautiful and everlasting stonework.
When you contact us, you can expect a professional experience. Calls, text, and emails will be answered within a few hours at most. We will come for an estimate within a few days, depending upon your location. If you desire, we may photograph your setting to design computer projections. This way, you can better customize the stone or colors and patterns to match your taste and surroundings.
